The Magic - Day 3

Updated: Jan 4, 2020

Good Day Mates!

Let's make magic with the force of gratitude. Join me by practicing daily gratitude.

Practice 3

Today's practice:

1. Find 3 pictures of people you are close to.

2. Write 5 things that you are most grateful for each person.

3. Think about these 3 people and look at their photos throughout the day and say thank you!

This was a difficult one for me to decide who to write about. I thought about family, my old hood (aka childhood friends), college buddies and so many more. I don't want to leave people out and I still appreciate all of those people! How I ended up deciding was 3 people that I spoke to very recently and keep in regular contact with. Also they deserve some recognition for putting up with me all the time :)

Drum roll please! 🥁🥁🥁

Megan Birman

1. Thank you Megan for always encouraging me to go after my dreams no matter how wild or silly they seem, and helping to scheme them.

2. Thank you Megan for giving me excuses to travel to come see you and knowing our relationship is just as strong as the last time we seen each other, if not stronger.

3. Thank you Megan for always doing kooky things with me like taking beer baths and doing embarrassing things we think are funny and noone else does, but we still have a blast.

4. Thank you Megan for always being there for me even when times are hard or I'm difficult to deal with, you always give me a perspective to ponder and open my eyes.

5. Thank you Megan for being the sister I never had and welcoming me into your home and making me part of your lovely family!

Brianna Oropeza

1. Thank you Brianna for putting up with so much of me during college and still being my friend after, especially dealing with Eliezer and I during college.

2. Thank you Brianna for always being on the same level as me, in the clouds, and having a sense of humor that only we may understand at the time.

3. Thank you Brianna for being such a creative person and always infusing beauty into everything you do.

4. Thank you Brianna for always being a friend that I know we can just hang out and talk and that time together is better than anything we could plan.

5. Thank you Brianna for adding a little sparkle to everything you do and everyone you meet, there is something about you that makes everything/everyone around you better.

Kaleah Latenser

1. Thank you Kaleah for correcting me when I come off as very ignorant and keeping me humble.

2. Thank you Kaleah (and Jon) for being our very first "adult friends" and holding that relationship dearly, relationships take effort and you put forth that effort.

3. Thank you Kaleah for teaching me about the correct way to be strong-willed and retaining respect.

4. Thank you Kaleah for having fun and living for the little things that make the biggest difference.

5. Thank you Kaleah for always being there for me when I need advice and being a solid person to rely on in bad times.

This is a fun practice to give some friends some recognition for all they are and all they do. Thank you ladies! Thank you to all the other friends/family that have touched my life that deserve to be on here too! You are in my heart/mind and i'm so grateful for you too!

What is "The Magic"

"The Magic" is a book by Rhonda Byrne. She is very well known for her book the secret. Essentially "The Magic" is a workbook to put into action the ideas behind the secret.

I highly recommend everybody have a copy of this book on their shelves. It is great if you just need a little inspiration to show some gratitude. I would highly recommend anything by Rhonda Byrne, her books and the secret books in general are easy to read and have great content about the law of attraction and gratitude.

You can get your own copy here. Please check out Rhonda Byrne as she is an awesome author and very inspiring.

Gratitude

This entire series of posts will be all about gratitude. Today I am very thankful to all of my family and friends. Each and everyone have touched my life in a special way! I wish I could spend all day writing about every single person that has affected my life in a positive way. Sadly it would take far longer than a day and I would still miss people. Thank you to those people who know you have made made an impact and thank you also to those of you that don't know you have made an impact!

🙏 Thank you for reading! Who are three people you want to be grateful for? What do you hope people would be grateful for you for? Do you ever tell people why you are grateful for them?
