Hello pen pals!
Let's make magic with the force of gratitude. Join me by practicing daily gratitude.
Practice 12
Today's Practice:
1. Think of 3 people that have changed your life.
2. Write them a letter expressing your gratitude.
3. Read the letter as if you were reading it to them.
4. *Mail them the letter. (This is not in the book)
For today's practice I am not going to share the letters I have written as they are quite personal. I will go into a little detail about who I wrote to and a quick reason why:
Melissa Vasak:
Friend from College - She was always there during my highest and lowest points.
Brian Stodola:
Mentor - In high school he told me some very inspiring words that I reflect on often.
Kayla:
Friend from Study Abroad - Shes always encouraging me to want more and not settle.
The book does not mention to mail the letters but I am going to. I think each of these people deserve to know how much of an impact on my life they have had. It is the least I can do to return the favor of the insights they have given me.
I was very surprised by this exercise because each of these letters made me cry. It just shows me how much these people have impacted me even if one was just a phone call I will never forget.
In the book it doesn't mention sending them because the letter could be to someone who has passed. When you read them out loud you are supposed to pretend you are in the room with that person reading it to them. It does make quite and impact on rereading the letter in the voice you want them to hear. Enjoy this practice and whether or not you send the letters really feel your gratitude for them.

What is "The Magic"
"The Magic" is a book by Rhonda Byrne. She is very well known for her book the secret. Essentially "The Magic" is a workbook to put into action the ideas behind the secret.
I highly recommend everybody have a copy of this book on their shelves. It is great if you just need a little inspiration to show some gratitude. I would highly recommend anything by Rhonda Byrne, her books and the secret books in general are easy to read and have great content about the law of attraction and gratitude.
You can get your own copy here. Please check out Rhonda Byrne as she is an awesome author and very inspiring.
Gratitude
This entire series of posts will be all about gratitude. Today I am very grateful for all of the people that have changed my life. It's not really about the things we do it is about the people we meet and the impact we have on them. Yes of course doing something is fun but its fun because of who you do it with. It's practices like today that just make me want to list out everyone I am grateful for and I know I would miss someone and feel terrible. Please know there are many people I will not hit with my gratitude practice and that breaks my heart but know you deserve to be on it! With lots of love and care, thank you!
🙏 Thank you for reading! Who has changed your life? Would you write them a letter telling them why? What information changed your life?✨
