Meditation is a fun way to connect with yourself and calm your mind. In my experience meditation is a good way to disconnect from the world. Most of my mediation takes places specifically when I need to find some calm.

While personally exploring meditation I came across a great book that touches on quick meditations that can be done anywhere or in anytime of need.
The book is "meditation express - STRESS RELIEF IN 60 SECONDS FLAT" by Nancy L. Butler-Ross and Michael Suib.
I found this little gem at my local library - but if you want your own copy you can easily find it on Amazon!
What I like about the Meditation book
It is short, sweet and to the point.
It's a quick reading book that also has great little meditations for many occasions that all only take 60 secs or less. These little meditations have different subjects so if you are looking for love or just looking to snooze you have options!
My favorite thing to do is just flip open the book until the universe what decides what meditation I need at the moment.
Meditations I liked Most
"Think Pink" combined with "Don't Think Pink"
It's a fun little series of focusing on something intently then focusing on something that is not what you were intently focusing on. Confusing... Maybe my explanation is confusing but the meditation is simple, and was quite profound to me.
another one I liked was:
"Hearts Desire"
This one was one that just helps to take you to a place you want to be. It quickly relaxed me and opened my mind to places I desired to be. It encourages you to make a list of places you want to be or experience. Although I'm not sure the physical location of where I imagined but now I have a bucket list to check off for finding it.
Meditation doesn't have to be a complicated or a long drawn out experience. Small short moments of relaxation can benefit you significantly.
Gratitude
I'm grateful for meditation because it helps to center my body and focus my mind. I am definitely guilty of only using meditation when I need it, examples being stressed, tired or disconnected. I would really like to get into a daily habit of meditation. I don't think it needs to be any extravagant just a few moments alone with yourself. I'm thankful for all of the resources available to learn more about this topic and learn how to better practice meditation.
🙏 Thank you for reading! What meditations do you like? Would you prefer short more frequent sessions or long deeply focused ones? Do you have any recommendations? 🧘
